Sunday 11a-3p brunch + 3p - 9p dinner.

Highly recommended.

We tried this spot per recommendation of Phoenix affiliate KTVK and it was a home run. They offer creative Mexican food and succeed on both counts to a degree I'm not sure I've ever experienced before - that is the food was certainly Mexican and not fusion, but full of interesting things you don't usually see on a Mexican restaurant menu. For example I had duck with a tamarind chipotle sauce (greatness, and I don't like duck), but the ordering decision was difficult because the menu is long and most of the dishes have an interesting twist. The staff was pretty laid back but seemd to really care about the place, and to top it off prices are reasonable (especially given the quality).

And make sure to visit the bathroom. It's beautiful.

And don't be thrown off by the immediate surroundings, a sort of burned out strip mall and a vacant lot. The place is above board and the adress above is correct, promise.

We celebrated the last day on the campaign for a member of the traveling press here. It's a pretty cool place, it sits on the intercoastal waterway and a lot of boats come by.

The food is mostly sea food, and of good quality. Its a little on the expensive side, wiht most entrees in the $30 range.

For some reason they have red light bulbs in the lights which really bothered me, it made the food look bad and kind of gave me a headache. The waiters (a male/female team, I forget if they were married) were also a little weird, they seemed really annoyed with people having a hard time deciding what to get, and it took literally 30 minutes for the to split our bill (evenly) even though the restaurant wasn't very busy at the time.
